Something like this might be possible. My S.O., the redoubtable Dr. Lisa, has volunteered a month of her time to go to Malawi (Africa) and work in a hospital there, doing (and teaching their doctors how to do) FNA cytology. We're hoping I can join her for a week or two of this time.
