I have one decent system but my point is that very few people do. Most systems 
are tied in with home theatre. Most people listen to music through horrible 
self-powered computer speakers or iPods. 

But good quality stereo hi fidelity? Not much of that around nowadays.

That seems to be generally true of audio things these days - I think they
expect people to be permanently wearing headphones, or in the case of TVs to
be plugged into some sort of home cinema set up with
superoctomegatronic-3D-HDQ- surround-sound Dolby bollocks. Or maybe it's
just that I'm a deaf git.
