I found the original CD that came with my Epson 2450 scanner and free
version of SilverFast SE, most likely a scaled down version since it
was free., and the S/N. It says it loadable on Mac OS 8.5-9.X for the
scanner. I have recent uploads from Epson so i'm just wondering:
1- If i load the CD will it corupt the existing version, or just not
load on OS 10.X
2- If i register the S/N and go for silverefxpro 2 upgrade think that
will work??

SilverFast is a different company. I don't think Google bought them yet.

And since it's a bundled "Special Edition", it's probably not eligible
for upgrades. The Photoshop5SE that came bundled with my Nikon scanner
was not.
