wouldnt it be easier to use the pentax lenses on a pentax dslr? with the adapter, the pancake looks more like a tall stack of pancakes...

I've become more interested in using my old manual focus Pentax lenses on the NEX-7. A few shots of the combo and one taken using it. The adapter is a Fotodiox Lens Mount Adapter w/ Aperture Control Pentax K, Pk Lens to Sony E-series Camera purchased from Amazon for $22. http://www.amazon.com/Fotodiox-Adapter-Aperture-Control-Pentax/dp/B005ORIS4Y All lens operations are strictly manual. http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=16638082&size=lg http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=16638079&size=lg http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=16638113&size=lg I've ordered a similar adapter for Nikon to E-mount as I have a brand new (hard to believe) Nikon 50/1.8 E-series (also pancake style) arriving. That lens should also work well as a nice lens on the D800E for night lanscapes.
