Noise could be a bother.  I bet that they do not use standard
powersupplies that come in very quiet models.

i'm sure you can hack it to be more quiet, but there are more fans than just the power supply; my client's 2010(?) Mac Pro is noticeable in his quiet office, but according to this they should be pretty quiet:

(so maybe it's the drives that i hear)
