My primary chose to replace zir 24" iMac last December with a Mac Mini plus external display. 16GB RAM, SSD, thunderbolt external drive. Pretty amazing how fast it is. I argued for the fusion drive to make upgrading simpler, but zie preferred simplicity. One annoyance is that the Mac Mini Server only allows the option of two SSDs or two spinnies, you can't get one each (but maybe there's a hack for it). -- Hugs and backrubs -- I break Rule 6 http://rule6.info/ <*> <*> <*> Help a hearing-impaired person: http://rule6.info/hearing.html -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
