You think she looks determined? I guess she does. I suppose what I was trying 
to point out is that she's not displaying the "angry bike messenger" stereotype.

I personally wouldn't ride a bike with laceless boots. That photo was taken 
back in September before cold and nasty hit. 

Most wear running shoes with either flat pedals or straps, or like me, cycling 
shoes and clipless pedals. Can't recall anyone else wearing unlaced work boots. 
I believe she was making a fashion statement more than trying to be practical.
