I don't have any significant problems with the K5. I don't see any real low
light autofocus problems, I was able to get hundreds of in-focus shots in a
pool hall where the light required ISO 12,800. I would like to be able to lock
focus better on swiftly moving objects, but I doubt that another brand of
camera would offer much improvement there, and if it did, I'm sure another
shortcoming would eventually make itself known. Ive shot in all kinds of
situations and never experienced the dynamic range problems Boris mentions. But
I'm cautious when it comes to metering, and know when to use exposure comp. No
machine is perfect, but for now, the K5 does all I need it to do. And I require
a lot of it.
