Hello Steve, as I mentioned earlier, my wife and me were on a Thomas Cook (3) weeks package tour of Western Europe including Britain and Spain. Almost every where we got luke warm coffee. When we asked for "piping hot" coffee, the girls would just smile and gesture. Ultimately we would search out Starbucks, the American chain, for good hot coffee. And Starbuck's "small" would be equivalent to Europe's "large" size cups.
respectfully, Bipin, you somehow had a very atypical experience of European coffee
Also Steve, hot black coffee (except Turkish or Arabic "kahwa") taste just the same almost anywhere in the world, when brewed from the same bean type.
i'm not sure why you are telling me that; my experience is that the flavor of hot black coffee is quite varied, and depends on several variables beyond the bean type
India & Brazil are the world's largest coffee producers.
that claim surprised me so i looked it up found that India is currently #7 in world production

Also the best tea in the world comes from India.
i drink a bit of tea and without doubt some great teas come from India, though i would hesitate to choose "best" without focusing on a specific variety of tea; China and Japan also produce amazing teas
