Yes do read Brians Roadtrip blog -- I've been following it religiously -
but never found out if they ate a Navajo taco - I should have put that
in my pre-trip suggestions as a must - especially since he was in a couple of places where they were exceptionally yummy.

G'day Jostein

My family and I are in the middle of a USA roadtrip - just under 3 weeks
in and have covered 2200 miles. We're currently in Essex, Montana
having been through 8 states so far. Hope to catch up with Joe
McAllister in Seattle and other PDMLers in San Francisco in a week or so.

We've covered some of the area you plan to see - you can see photos of
some of our adventures here:

Quoting AlunFoto - Jostein Øksne <[email protected]>:

Today I passed 2000 PDML mails in my inbox, and realised I have to
pull myself seriously together to keep up.

To make short work of it all, my thoughts and condolances to Doug
Brewer on the loss of his beloved lens, and a big *yay* for the work
Mark Roberts and his crew has put down on the annual. Blurb tells me
one is on its way here.

I am in the process of planning a 3 weeks' roadtrip through Sierra
Nevada in October/November. We are two Norwegian Pentaxians travelling
together.
The plans are not very firm yet, but we're coming through San
Francisco. We plan to go via Sonora to Yosemite, through the Sierra to
Mono Lake, and go South along hwy 395 and the into Death Valley. From
there our plans are still open. We have been recommended to go further
East to Valley of Fire and on to Zion, and then go East, around to the
South side Grand Canyon before turning back to California. Suddenly we
found ourselves doing in excess of 3000 kilometers in three weeks...
Is that at all realistic? Your thoughts would be much appreciated.

Also, I'd love it if you have suggestions for places to stop by along
the way. :-)

Jostein
