G'day all This might interest some.
LightZone is open source photo editing software that was originally available as a commercial application. It takes an unconventional approach to editing, which probably contributed to its demise.
Anyway, the source code was released as open source last year and a team has been working on updating it to handle RAW files from recent cameras (it can also edit jpgs).
Versions for Windows and Linux have now been released and a Mac version is coming.
It's interesting to play with even if you decide it's not for you. http://lightzoneproject.org/ -- Cheers Brian ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Brian Walters Western Sydney Australia http://lyons-ryan.org/southernlight/ -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
