Great work Walt.
A lot of excellent shots there; Alisa and her mum should be pleased.
I especially like 2804 and 2806.
Cheers

Quoting Walt <[email protected]>:
I woke up today with an itch to take some photos and decided, what
the hell -- I'll see if I can find someone to pose for me. So, I
updated my Facebook status to see if anyone might be interested.
Shortly thereafter, I got a response from a friend of mine who's
been telling me for quite a while that she wants me to photograph
her daughter. She was ready to get it underway within two hours, but
I told her I had to make some arrangements with a friend of mine to
see if I could use his place to take some shots and that we ought to
shoot for the early afternoon, just to give him a little bit of
notice. I called, he agreed, and we all went out there and started
shooting. This is the product after my initial run-through of the
more easily workable shots:

All shot with the K-5 and F50/1.7 with my recently purchased flash
unit attached. I didn't bother with any wireless stuff as I wanted
to play it safe and didn't want any big surprises. Also, I didn't
realize until I got home that I'd had the diffuser in my pocket the
whole time. So, some of the shots came out a tad harsh, but overall,
I have to say I'm pretty pleased with what I was able to do. All
shots were done hand-held with manual flash.
Comments appreciated.
Thanks!
