For God's sake man, step into the second decade of the 21st century and use Chrome. Who cares if it's a Google product? If you've been semi-conscious you'd know that it doesn't matter what ISP, email provider, or telecommunications company you partner with. The government believes they have the right to monitor it, they believe you don't have the right to know they're doing it, and they're mad as hell that someone told their dirty little secret.
