I just checked Kodak's web site and they 
recommend 5-10 minutes using REGULAR fixer
which is what I use. So 15 minutes wasnt
that far off. They also recommend using
twice the film clear time and checking it
at 5 minutes. maybe next time I will.
I'll probably use 10 minutes as my fix
time not 15. I will also switch to constant
agitation (roller) fixing as thats what they
recommend, I was using intermittant.
They also state if theres a light pink stain
to fix some more ( I knew that).

Other than checking clearing time, is there
another way to tell if fixer is exausted?
I reuse my fixer for many rolls.
