This is the clearing time with *used* sodium fixer. Unless you know exactly how much 
film went through the fixer, the test is pretty useless. If you know how much film 
went through the fixer, the test is 1/2 useless.

You need to do the test with fresh fix, or else you have no baseline. Fixer exhaustion 
is indicated when the clearing time doubles. I dump long before then.

Again, get some rapid fixer and save yourself a load of time.
