The camera isn't quite "plug and play" but less fiddling to get a
jump start than I thought. I'm in love.
Do I need to load that CD that comes with it? will that install
something that will allow me to view the DNGS as Thumbnails?
The Pentax Digital Camera Utility on the CD is actually not too bad as
a RAW converter (and it will read PEFs). It's certainly a class above
the crap that came with previous Pentax DSLRs. Of course, if you're
happy with the way Elements 5 is handling the DNGs, you don't need it.
It's a pity that Ashley looks so stressed :-)>
