You need to tell the camera the actual focal length, not the 35 mm equivalent.
Now - the 50mm I used has an A on the barrel - that is, you can set
it on A. The 28mm I have does not, and when I put THAT on the K-5
even with M set on both focus and mode nothing happened. Couldnt
use it on the IstD either.
Anyone know if it is out of the question ? I couldnt find anything
in the manual "attach a proper lens" didn't help much :-)
Not quite sure what you mean, but do you have "Using Aperture Ring" in
Custom Menu No 27 set to "Permitted"?
