I've had good experience with Manfrotto/Bogen tripods, but mine are all
OLD heavy-weight aluminum tripods.

It gets good reviews on B&H with an average rating of 4.5 out of 5; 100%
would recommend to a friend; PROS of "folds away, lightweight, stable,
unfolds quickly" and no CONS listed.

I couldn't get the video to play. It just gave me an orange candy-cane
stripe & the word loading. I read all the responses on the thread while
waiting for it.

If I *was* going to buy it, I'd look for it locally, and buy it from B&H
if I couldn't find one around here.

Hi Everyone:

I saw this new tripod on amazon: especially made for travel and mobility.
If you click to the images page, there's a video showing the tripod "in
action." Any thoughts?
It's amazingly compact and can sustain up to 8.5 pounds.

Would be interested in any thoughts.

Thanks, Christine
