If you have the money, get a K-5 II, if you don't get a used K-5 for not a lot 
more than repairing you K20 would cost.

If you can't see a problem with the pictures, it seems that any problems with 
the lens is moot.

My K20 was resurrected twice from nasty falls.  So far as I know, it is 
still working.
