I dunno. With the K-3, its going to take a substantial FF camera to
provide much improvement. Unless it offers significant resolution
increase or much higher ISO capability (these two usually do not go
together) then for me a 24mp full frame is kind of boring. I
considered a cheap 5dmk2 for a while. If anything to get easier access
to wide angles and then I could just my pentax cameras for reach. But
the K-5 gives better files with more DR and less shadow noise and
banding, resolution aside. If the K-3 is on par at least with the
D7100, with good glass you should get results very comparable to 5dmk3
and D600 pictures, though with a stop more DOF. Lenses are the real
limiting factor. On aps-c moreso as diffraction limits start taking
their toll earlier. I'd love to build a collection of limiteds over
time, and that means I will be with aps-c for a while asides from the
few ltds and full frame lenses I already have. Though I have to admit
a proper k-mount FF would be TON of fun with legacy glass. Especially
a mirrorless with good focus peaking...
