Not sure about what you mean with 'the flare under control with the sun'
There isn't any veiling flare or secondary flare spots all over the
picture. Flare is, in some instances, unavoidable. This image shows
excellent flare control in a nearly impossible situation. The sun just
inside the frame is the most difficult position for flare control.
