I need to figured out which of the two AF mechanisms in the 50-135 lens are actually working at this time. The entire story is that I bought a used 50-135/2.8 from KEH, and when it arrived, the AF was dead. I sent it back for a warranty [KEH] repair, and it came back rather quickly. Now, I have a feel that the focus is going slower compared to what I remember. So, my suspicion is that in their "repair" they just disabled the SDM instead of replacing. But I am not 100% certain, - especially since I've never seen how fast or slow the screw-driver focus on this lens was. Any ideas?
