I think this is what happens to guitar stars - they don't want to change
a smooth setup so just buy another one to mess with, and then that turns
into another one they don't want to mess with etc etc.
Years ago the Mrs and I saw Eric Bibb and he had about a dozen guitars
lined up on stage for him to choose from throughout the evening. Before
his first song, he looked at the selection and said "hmm, I wonder which
one I should pick up first..." and then turning to the audience with a
twinkle in his eye, said, "...because I can".

So, what you're saying is I'm pretty much a guitar hero.
