Personally, I really like the look and feel of Opera. On my Linux box
Firefox and Chromium were dead dawg slow - Opera works reasonably well
but the internet is slower under Linux than it was under XP on the same
machine.

Opera? I haven't used it in a long time so I don't know if it will do
what you want but if you don't want to use IE, Safari, Chrome, or
Firefox, you're running out of options.
You might look into Pale Moon. It's Mozilla Codebase ut with more
traditional controls. It is however Windows only, optimized for fast
browsing.

Suggest a browser that is *NOT* Firefox, Google Chrome or Safari.
I want something that looks something like Firefox, it *must* support
NoScript and it must have customizable toolbars that I can configure
the way I want them and that will not be blown away by some bogus
update!

Firefox just did an automatic update and destroyed my custom toolbars.
It will not let me customize the new version.
