Yes and no. The balloon launched knowing it would be setting down in a residential neighborhood. It tried to set down in the cul-de-sac in front of our house, but overshot it, barely clearly our roof and the roof on the house next to us, then crossing that back yard before landing in the front yard of the house behind us. I'm sure they hadn't planned on setting down that close to a house, however.
