Thanks, Paul - I try to lay low in the car but in this case I was about 10 feet form the bird. No way would they stay around if I was standing or sitting in the open at that distance!

I was going to go out shooting today but wound up staying around the house to 
get caught up on some yard work. This goldfinch might have been a better photo 
op than anything I would have seen in the field.  Comments welcome.

K-3 and Tokina ATX 400 f5.6. For a ~$350 lens it does a decent job.
