Thanks, Bruce - they are indeed little acrobats. I got several shots of their derrieres as they hung upside down and worked on the seed head. (Somehow those shots did't make the cut...)

I was going to go out shooting today but wound up staying around the house
to get caught up on some yard work. This goldfinch might have been a better
photo op than anything I would have seen in the field.  Comments welcome.

K-3 and Tokina ATX 400 f5.6. For a ~$350 lens it does a decent job.
