Shortcomings in photo technique; well, quite probably but we won't go there today. I was more concerned with how LR would deal with repair of damaged photos, but having had a look at the videos that George recommended, I am really surprised at how much LR can do. I really want to buy rather than rent (right term?), so I'll grab the latest version and see where we go from there.
