There really is quite a strong divide between LR and PS. For my level of photography the cost is a consideration. The bottom line - even if I was fixed on having PS - is that LR is the fraction of the price of a genuine copy of PS6. Despite living in a capital city, my internet connection is not 100% reliable, and in an ideal world, I'd have a laptop to work on with the software installed where I didn't have to worry about internet at all.
