Just the two of us again this year (plus the cats ...)

A fairly traditional meal - roast turkey (well, half a turkey)
with roast potatoes, brussel sprouts, roast potatoes, chestnut
stuffing, gravy, and caramelized cranberry and apple compote
(the last is a Gordon Ramsay recipe, and very good it is too).
That course was my responsibility, and then my wife took over
and provided mince pies, coffee, chocolate, etc.

We started off with a glass of Cremant D'Alsace (a sparkling
rose wine), and then a Russian River Chardonay with the meal.

We're now finishing up Christmas Day watching the Doctor Who
Christmas Special on BBC America.

Basically just a quiet relaxing day at home, with good food.

Went out for Chinese again this year.

Did you enjoy the Doctor Who special?
