After a year (or more) of lacking any sort of inspiration, I recently scanned a
number of negatives
from the 1960's, mainly B&W. Since this was the early period of my interest in
photography, there
were a lot of mistakes! But now I feel the need to get back into the
nitty-gritty, to get out with
a camera always with me, and perhaps even to implement a long-standing change
of direction in my
photography - we'll see how it works out.
If the muse isn't with you - there is no point, it just becomes a chore.

For the majority of us, photography is simply a pastime to be enjoyed with
other enjoyable
activities in life. For me it's a great reason to get out in the woods and
experience nature and to
capture some of those moments to enjoy later and share with others.

The trip is almost as enjoyebble as the destination.
