Carry a camera!
One of the reasons I bought a Nikon Coolpix 7100 - it is a nice small,
pocketable package with a nice range zoom, decent image quality.

My resolution has been to have a camera to hand when I go out. I didn't
bother yesterday, as I was only doing a small shopping trip and on the way
back missed the opportunity to capture someone operating a full size Dalek
by remote on a road only a mile away.
Carry a camera!
