Was it a postal money order or from a bank? They may
give you a hard time if it is postal ( ie from Canada
post ) but if you take it to the post office they
should chash it ( $3 fee the last person told me ) if
it's from a bank they have a rep American bank ( in my
case citi bank ) so it should work like any other US
