This sounds more like a bank issue than a M.O. issue. I've never had a problem cashing any sort of payment at my bank. And there's no processing wait. I can give them personal cheques in US funds and have access to that money thirty seconds later. It's the same with money orders... instant cash, no fee. It sounds like you don't have a good enough banking package that would allow you to do that, so they're trying to charge you for it. If you pay them any sort of monthly fee, they should cash it for you for nothing... I've never heard of a US seller having any problems cashing my M.O.'s, though I send ones from a bank.
