I wander through TigerDirect (local store) at least once a week to see what's going on computerwise. Up until a few weeks ago you could still buy computers with Windoze7 pre-installed or at least with an option to revert to Windoze7. As of last Wednesday, you could still buy an OEM version Windoze7 with any computer hardware purchase. Don't really have any experience with Windoze8. I took one look at the interface and wanted to hurl. I don't think 8.1 any improvement because the basic premise is flawed. My computer is NOT a smartphone, & I *HATE* touch screens! Haven't really looked at Windoze10 yet, but I'm not expecting much improvement. Mainly it makes me wonder what happened to Windoze9? -- Science - Questions we may never find answers for.
