I dropped my k5 and sigma 17-70, about two feet, onto some hard pack snow today at snowgolf. Lens took the hit at 45 degrees and the mount stayed on the camera while the lens came off the mount and landed in some snow. Fixable ? or am I buying a new one
I posted this on Pentaxians on facebook and got several different replies just looking for more comfort here. I was and always do worry about jarring the sensor but after looking at shots using my 50-200, my only spare lens they seem ok.
