Wow! I really am an old fart. I had a 1965 MGB convertible. I acquired it from the XO's wife after he flew his plane into the Atlantic. That MGB provided more driving pleasure than all the cars I have since owned, but keeping it in repair was a major PITA, especially in North Carolina, in the 1960s. One of the worst days of my life was when I sold it to buy a full sized Dodge station wagon so we could cart our dags around to dog shows and sledding events.
