I may have mentioned this before, but many years ago I met one Leica owner who 
took to his camera
with a nail file when he couldn't get a flash to work:  I don't think he 
actually knew much about
either photography or camera maintenance!

Everybody I know that owns and shoots with Leica cameras are truly interested 
in photography.
However, when Leica comes out with stuff like the "pre worn" camera, and a few 
of their other
things, it's hard for me not to think of every Leica owner as a poseur with 
delusions of competence,
who has more money than sense.

Then again, they probably think of Pentax owners the way that Porsche owners 
used to think of the
people who drove MGs.
