The whole reason to buy into a system is that you can continue to use
the system, otherwise if Ricoh decides to stop producing the K mount
next week and all "Pentax" cameras will have a "New" "Improved" non
comparable lens mount, you personally will have no right to complain.
Just plunk down your cash and buy all new equipment.
Companies that do that, by the way, pretty much cease to exist, unless
they're Canon. Canon had a much larger chunk of the market mind space
than Pentax has right now.
