Wow. I'd be surprised if I've made more than 50 prints in total in 8
years of digital shooting.

I was going to remark that I have only ever used printing services (my
fave has both a 44" wide and a 60" wide printer and a good selection
of paper and other media) and I find it very cost-effective, but I can
easily see if I was printing in these quantities I'd want a home
printer too.

And I have only ever sold a handful of prints, so there's an area I
will perhaps one day explore too.
