Does this only happen with the K-5?

I don't remember the *ist-D, K10D, K20D doing that, and I haven't noticed it with the K-3.

FAT32 will allow 65000+ files to a folder...the K-5 creates a new folder

Last night I saw the Red Elvises play in Santa Cruz. It was a very fun
show, and I ended up taking pictures. I loaded them into lightroom last
night, and when I went through them this morning, a whole bunch were
missing. Going back and looking, Lightroom had only read the ones out
of the 100PENTX directory, not the 101PENTX directory.

First of all, this seems to be a bit of a lightroom bug. However, what
causes the camera to change from storing photos in one subdirectory to
another? Is it when I hit 500 photos?
