I hope you enjoyed your bike tour. That looks like a nice place. An Italian friend of mine is just back from spending the summer researching in some archives over there and she says it was extremely hot. The photos look a little flat to me - perhaps a combination of auto-exposure and the bright sunlight. You can probably do something with that in Lightroom.
