The Quantum Turbo and Turbo Z both have a connector cord that fits the 500.
Haven't gotten one for my 500 yet... but they claim it will recycle a
similar flash in less than a second from a full power output. They have a
pretty long charge life too. I think the website is http://www.qtm.com/
They're not cheap though... new the Turbo runs over $300.
