Things that I don't like about the K-1 when compared to the K3-II:

Frame rate in crop is a lot better.

Not enough. The K3 does 8.3 fps; the K1 is 4.4 or 6.5.

I've noticed that when I'm switching between the K5 and the K3 the K5 seems
positively sluggish on the frame rate.

Heh! Funny you should mention that. There is someone in San Jose that is
selling a K-3 and 18-35/1.8 on craigslist for a decent price and will not split
them up. (He also has some FA ltds). Until I found out how inexpensive the K-1
would be, I was very tempted. The problem is that My K-5 is so beat up, I
doubt I could get more than $300 for it (if that). Your pristine K-5, however
should fetch top dollar, which would minimize your cost of upgrading the body.
All we need now is to find someone interested in your K-5, figure out how to
split up the cost and we all end up with the goodies we want. :-)
