Ok. Assume I have never owned any Pentax auto focus lens from the 1990s :-) Which I haven't. Basically, what I would like to know is this: if the lens was place onto an adaptor and used on a completely different camera body - eg effectively no electrical connection between lens and said body - would the lens act as a manual focus / manual aperture lens?
