Its not a bad price considering the features Paul mentioned.  All that
monitoring and control stuff makes for a very worry free setup and
probably produces excellent and consistent results.  My pit has a
manual damper between the firebox and the main chamber, so I can
modulate the temperature when things get too hot/cold.  I've thought
about putting a servo on it to automate this, but then I wouldn't have
an excuse to relax near the pit and drink some homebrew (or scotch!).
Plus my wife likes the brisket and if I wasn't monitoring it, she'd
put me to work somewhere else!  ;)
