I only use Safari, don't know Chrome or Firefox. With the most current Safari 
and fairly current hardware, I sometimes get bad results. I remember several 
software generations ago (coding in HTML4.0) how tricky it was to code for 
compatibility with all browsers. There are sites which are still poorly written 
in that they expect the user will be using browser which are built to current 
standards, little allowance made for backward compatibility. So many browsers, 
so many generations of software, it is easy to understand how somebody's clever 
shortcut could freeze a slightly off kilter older browser.

In short, upgrade.
