The K1 PEF is not supported. Adobe ended support for CS6 Camera Raw with
the July 29 2015 release of ACR 9.1.1.
Users of the K1 either need to shoot DNG or use the Adobe DNG converter
on your PEFs and end up with a DNG file anyway.
I started shooting DNG with the K10 because Adobe was slow to update ACR
and have continued to shoot that format. I see no reason to not shoot
DNG files if you are using Adobe products.
