Just restart the computer and see if it happens again. You might look inside the catalog folder and see if there are any residual "journal" files (they should be obvious). If there are, delete them before running LR again.
If it does happen again, call Adobe support (or start a support chat via their website) and get them to help. They're a pain to get through to, but once in they provide good support.
