I have a client who owned a Holiday Inn franchise. A few years back, he was
notified that they were terminating a third of their franchises, and
established a list of upgrades that were being required in order to stay in
the system.  My client made the grade, and installed the updates.  Despite
that, he has since switched to one of the Marriott brands.
